COMPANY PROFILE

QUALITECH was incorporated in 1979 as a trading company and distributor of Bayer Rubber Chemicals Products. In 1981, the company decided to go into manufacturing since its sister company, TRUST CHEMICALS, INC., is a major supplier of Textile Industry and the exclusive distributor of BAYER® AG in Dyestuffs Products and Textile Auxiliaries. In this year, a 500-gallon glass line reactor was purchased to manufacture water soluble resins such as PVAC, Polyamide and Polyamine Resin and fixing agent for textile auxiliaries.

The company has a one (1) hectar land property in Bagbaguin, Valenzuela, Bulacan that houses a warehouse and a plant with three reactors. In 1987, a five tonner reactor was put up for the expansion of PVAC manufacturing. This plant houses all the manufacturing activities and last year, another warehouse-building was constructed to provide more space for all finished products and delivery of incoming shipments/importations. In 1988, a third reactor was built for the manufacture of ACRYLIC EMULSION, a binder for non-woven products.In 1990, QUALITECH CHEMICAL CORP. became the sole dealer of RHEIN CHEMIE, a sister company of BAYER AG dealing in rubber chemicals. In 1991, it also acquired the exclusive distributorship of POLYSAR, a company also selling various products for the rubber industry which was acquired by BAYER GERMANY last year and now officially known as BAYER POLYSAR.In June 1991, QUALITECH has started selling its manufactured ACRYLIC EMULSION, a new product, binder for non-woven textile.
